Welch Allyn's durable, comfortable, and lightweight surgical headlight delivers the bright, white light expected from a xenon system at a fraction of the cost.
The patented Solarc lamp provides white, xenon-quality light (5,500 K) for more accurate color and clear tissue identification than 3,200 K halogen systems. The Solarc Lamp has a median life of approximately 550 hours. A unique optical design provides at least 30% greater light intensity than leading halogen systems for excellent visualization of the operative site.
A soft, flexible headband features a ratchet on the top and back for superior comfort and a customized fit.
The fiber optic bundle is encased in three layers of protective materials to prevent fiber breakage and reduce costs.
